Amilogen
Amilogen is a capsule medication containing tretinoin, a vitamin A derivative used primarily as part of the treatment for acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), a specific type of blood cancer.
Its action helps promote the normal maturation of affected blood cells, contributing to the control of abnormal cell growth. Because this is a specialized treatment, it should only be used under medical direction and supervision.
- First-line treatment for Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia.
- May achieve complete remission in 63%–96% of patients with APL while also helping control coagulation disorders.
